Preview: Pigeon Hole Comedy – with Simon Munnery, Wes Zaharuk & more
We don’t normally preview individual gigs – unless they’re for charity – but we’ll make an exception for this one…
On the same night as the first Giggle Beats Comedy Quiz (Monday 6 May), Pigeon Hole Comedy are bringing Simon Munnery to Leeds – and tickets are only two quid. Yeah, you heard.
In case you didn’t know, Pigeon Hole is a not-for-profit comedy night at the Brudenell Social Club, run by comedian Callum Scott. They’ve caught our eye with some impressive line-ups in the past, and this show’s no different…
Munnery is joined by the joyfully daft Wes Zaharuk, Liam Pickford, and Seán Morley. And the night will be compered by Red Redmond, who used to write for Giggle Beats once upon a time.
Speaking to us about Pigeon Hole Comedy, Scott said: “We’ve tried to create the best night possible for both acts and audiences by bringing you the best headliners and up and coming acts for only two pounds.
“We’re situated in the Brudenell Social Club, a brilliant venue that shares our ideology on how live entertainment should be done, and we couldn’t be happier there.
“Pigeon Hole is run by people who love comedy for people who love comedy.”
