Jack and Sarah return from Switzerland for the Christmas holidays – but they soon reveal that their life abroad isn’t quite so idyllic.
When Ben and Susan’s car goes missing, they end up stranded in Hebburn for Christmas. But they have also brought along Sarah’s sour faced grandmother Millie who takes an immediate dislike to everything Hebburn.
Despite a troubling start, this has been another successful series of the sitcom that makes you cry just as much as it makes you laugh. Here’s to series three in 2014.
The final Hebburn airs tonight at 10.30pm.
