Preview: Giggle Beats Comedy Quiz, The Stand, Newcastle

Our very own Giggle Beats Comedy Quiz is back at The Stand in Newcastle this Sunday, with ace prizes and stand-up from the wonderful Nicola Mantalios-Lovett.

Nicola was a finalist in the 2012 So You Think You’re Funny?, and will round off the show with a short stand-up set.

She joins her Funny Team sketch partner Lee Kyle, who returns to host the Giggle Beats Comedy Quiz on 3 August at 7pm.

Prizes this month include a three-course meal for two at The Stand’s tasty bistro, as well as tickets to the very best shows at The Newcastle Alternative. Think Josie Long, Tony Law and Craig Campbell.
