Preview: Comedy Club 4 Kids in Scarborough

Looking for something to keep the kids entertained over the festive break? Good news; Comedy Club 4 Kids is here to help.

Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre will host the show at 2.45pm on 30 December.

Performing their kid-friendly sets will be Lee Kyle, Harriet Dyer and improv group Comedy Sportz.

Since 2005, the Comedy Club 4 Kids has been inviting top stand-ups and sketch acts from the international circuit to do their thing for an audience of children and their families – without the rude bits.

Comedy Club 4 Kids is just like a normal comedy club, but at a more sociable hour, with kids welcome, and therefore with higher than usual chance of heckles like: “Why is that your face!?”

In the past decade the company has expanded from one London residency to running shows and workshops across the country. They have even produced a guide, How To Be An Unstoppably Amazing Comedy Genius, for anyone interested in becoming a comedian.
