Preview: Bad Movies with Great Comedians at The Stand

On Tuesday 8 March, Bad Movies with Great Comedians returns to the club for another chance for comedy and film fans to enjoy/destroy a classically appalling celluloid-nightmare, with a live screening of a great cinema flop alongside commentary from a host of top comics.

Next week’s installment of the show will see 1988’s The Blob remake take a grilling from comics Joe Heenan, Billy Kirkwood and a special guest.

What with the advancement in special effects, makers of the eighties remake of sci-fi horror classic The Blob probably thought they could do a good job. They were wrong.
