Idiots + Gunge = Laughing returns this weekend.

Gunge! Need we say any more?

Go on then, we will. Gunge is brilliant. Watching other people get gunged is even better. Throw in some comedy, games and general stupidity, and you’ve got the recipe for a pretty great afternoon. Good thing then, that Idiots + Gunge = Laughing returns this week.

Comedian Lee Kyle‘s slimey baby will be back this Saturday at The Stand Comedy Club in Newcastle, following its debut last September.

This edition of the kids’/daft adults’ show sees two teams battle it out to save themselves from a right good gunging.

It’s girls versus boys as Cal Halbert, Si Buglass and George Zach face off with Nicola Mantalios-Lovett, Sammy Dobson and Katherine Tanney in an epic, and possibly very sticky, clash of comedy titans.

Lee said: “The last show was loads of fun, I was amazed how much people enjoyed it, we had 3 year olds, 15 year olds and adults in and everyone got into it.

“It was one of the highlights of my year to be honest, other than trying to clean the gunge from Si’s back hair that is. That was a long half hour.”

Idiots + Gunge = Laughing. The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle, Saturday 17 January, 2pm, £3. Buy tickets.
