Tom Binns is to bring his two most popular creations to West Yorkshire in March.

The multi-award winning character comic will play two shows in Sowerby Bridge later this month, in the guise of both hospital radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury, and Sunderland psychic Ian D Montfort.

On 27 March the ‘pair’ will perform at Congelton Comedy Club at The Lion and Swan, and again on 28 March at Comedy @ The Works.

Brackenbury has become well known for his quality hospital-wide broadcasting, with games, give-aways, patient requests and a special blend of music and chat. Recently heard on Radio 2, Brackenbury gained a coveted Perrier Award Nomination, and nods from several international comedy festivals.

Also appearing at the show is Brackenbury ‘s ‘close friend’ Ian D Montfort; a camp North East medium, whose mixture of wicked lampooning and genuine cold-reading skills never fails to tickle and shock his audience in equal measure.

Compere at Congelton Comedy Club will be 2013 Stand Up Comedian Of The Year Mick Ferry, whose excellent gags combined with peerless improvisational skills give him a Twitteresque topicality that is the envy of much bigger names.

TV appearances includes Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and he made his big screen debut alongside Eric Cantona in Ken Loach’s ‘Looking For Eric’. Also appearing will be Geordie comic Tony Jameson.
