Sky 1’s fantasy comedy Yonderland has been given the green light for a second series.

Stars Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard, Dan Skinner and Ben Willbond will all reprise their roles in series two, which begins filming in the autumn.

Yonderland  follows bored housewife Debbie Maddox, who unexpectedly finds herself teleported to an extraordinary world inhabited by a collection of eccentric characters.

Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, said: “We are incredibly proud to be able to bring Yonderland back for a second joyful series.

“The show epitomises Sky 1 – it is a brilliantly creative, cheeky, laugh-out-loud show that the whole family can relish.”

Lucy Lumsden, Sky’s Head of Comedy, added: “We’re delighted to be able to reunite the multi-talented Yonderland team for another series. Many more magical treats of silliness await.”

Series two of Yonderland will air in late 2015.
