Top comics dust off their wellies for Leeds Festival
As the 2015 festival season draws to a close, comedy fans can enjoy one last hurrah this coming Bank Holiday weekend, with Leeds Festival boasting a stellar lineup of international comedic talent.
An expansive roster of comedy on Brahmam Park’s Alternative Stage will see the likes of Milton Jones, Russell Kane and Reginald D Hunter perform across the weekend.
Kicking off the festival, which runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August, will be Adam Buxton’s BUG, a live show that combines music videos and comedy, on Thursday night.
On Friday, the Alternative Stage gets the laughs into full swing, as MC Matt Richardson, of ITV2’s The Xtra Factor, hosts Dane Baptiste, Chris Ramsey, Daniel Sloss, Seann Walsh, Milton Jones, Louisa Omeilan and Russell Kane.
Saturday will see Piff The Magic Dragon, Abandoman, Andrew O’Neill, Paul Chowdhry, Sara Pascoe, Andrew Maxwell, Joel Dommett and Reginald D Hunter tickling festival-goers, alongside MC Carl Hutchinson.
Finally Sunday’s lineup will feature Stephen K. Amos, Pete Johansson, Holly Walsh, Nick Helm, Alex Edelman, Katherine Ryan, Paul McCaffrey and MC Iain Stirling round off the weekend.
