The Newcastle Stand are bringing kids’ comedy to the North East.
Up in Glasgow, The Stand have been treating young comedy fans to a Sunday lunchtime show, with three comedians doing silly stuff for 6 to 12 year olds.
And on Sunday 17 February, The Stand launches the Newcastle Kids Comedy Club, where kids can have as much fun as the adults do.
The show, which takes place every third Sunday at the Newcastle Stand, will be family-orientated, with comedy, storytelling, poetry and stupid science.
There will also be prizes to win every month, as well as healthy food for the kids.
Yet unlike the table service upstairs, at the NKCC there will be an interactive, educational element to the food on offer.
Tables will be laid out with a selection of tasty ingredients so that parents and kids can make their own food before the show begins at 12.30pm.
The first show features stand-up Martin Mor, who used to be a circus performer, with Little Howard And The Magic Pencil Of Life And Death coming to the Newcastle Stand on Sunday 17 March.
Tickets are £4.
The NKCC is suitable for children and adults of all ages, though ideal for children aged 8-12.
