The Boy with Tape on his Face makes UK return
The Boy With Tape on his Face is to embark on a new UK tour.
The Boy with Tape on his Face will return to the UK for the first time in three years this Autumn, with The Boy with Tape on his Face is Tape Face, a major tour that will take in some of the country’s foremost venues.
The 35 date tour will begin on 6 September at Grantham’s Guild Hill and, culminating in a three night run at Brighton’s Old Market beginning 10 November.
A former circus and street performer, New Zealander Sam Willis began performing his unique silent stand up act in 2008. A runaway success in the Antipodes, Willis racked up multiple awards, including Best Show, Best Show Concept, People’s Choice, and a nomination for Best Newcomer at Melbourne Comedy Festival.
The Boy, whose voiceless act draws on visual comedy, mime, music, magic and puppetry, has enjoyed totally sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for four years in a row. He has also had four sold-out UK tours, a smash hit run in London’s West End, and has become a critically acclaimed marvel around the world.
