Romesh Ranganathan announces UK tour

Romesh Ranganathan has announced a new UK tour.

The comic will take his new show Irrational on a mammoth country-wide tour beginning in February next year.

Ranganathan, who was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2013, had planned to take the show to this year’s Edinburgh Festival, but cancelled the run in order to film a programme for the BBC.

Asian Provocateur, in which Ranganathan travels to Sri Lanka to explore his heritage, debuted on BBC this week.

Ranganathan will also be co-hosting the new series of BBC Two’s You’re Fired and You’re Hired, the companion show to The Apprentice, alongside Jack Dee when the programme returns this month.
