Organisers announce RockNess comedy line-up.
North East stand-up Kai Humphries will join Tim Minchin and Daniel Sloss at this year’s RockNess – as organisers announced the festival’s comedy line-up.
Humphries, who recently supported pal Sloss on tour, will appear alongside the likes of Des Clarke, The Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III, Billy Kirkwood, Benny Boot, Marty McLean, Ro Campbell, Scott Agnew and So You Think You’re Funny? winner James Kirk. He is the sole North East representative on a bill dominated by the Scottish comedy circuit.
Commenting on this year’s comedy at RockNess, Festival Director Jim King said “The comedy programme has been a brilliant addition to the festival and it’s gone from strength to strength.
“Led by Tim Minchin, we’ve got a great announcement of the very best from the Scottish comedy circuit and so the pub is going to be the place to grab a drink, kick back and have a few laughs.”
RockNess Festival takes place 8th to 10th June in Loch Ness, Scotland, with comedy running on all three days. For tickets and further information, see: www.rockness.co.uk.
