Manchester improv troupe launch adults-only show
Manchester improv troupe ComedySports are launching a new adults only show this weekend.
A departure from their usual all ages shows, Bang! Bang! Comedy Improv will take place at Gulliver’s every month, beginning Sunday 20 March, and will consist of improvised sketches, skits and games.
ComedySportz performer Brianne Edge said: “Just because the show isn’t family friendly doesn’t mean it will just be a string of swears and rude jokes – it just means the filters are off and the unexpected might be even more, well, unexpected!
“Manchester is a really comedy literate crowd and we just want to add even more variety to that.”
Performer John Cooper added: “There is plenty of stand up in the city but not a huge variety of Improv.
“We want to provide as much variety as possible to reach as wide an audience as we can. So if you if you’re a fan of shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway and have yet to enjoy Improv live on stage then this is the night for you.”
Tickets are £5/3 and are available on the door. The next Bang! Bang! Comedy Improv night will take place on Sunday 17 April.
