Rob Beckett brings his Mouth of the South to Stockton
Rob Beckett is to perform on Teesside next Spring.
The comic will bring his new show Mouth of the South to Stockton’s ARC on Saturday 14 May next year.
The Londoner, best known for his appearances on BBC1’s Live at the Apollo, BBC2’s Mock the Week and Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats, will be tackling ‘big issues’ including Kit Kats and the merits of flat-bread in his own relentlessly breezy style.
Graham Ramsay of promoters Ten Feet Tall, who worked alongside ARC to bring the show to the town, said: “No two ways about it – this man is a comedy superstar in the making.
“He always comes over as warm and genuinely likable on TV – one of those acts who looks like they’re really enjoying themselves up there on that stage.
“He’s actually played ARC’s Studio before, but I didn’t manage to catch the show, so I’m especially looking forward to catching the full live experience this time around – it’s never quite the same on the telly!”
Tickets for the show are priced £14 / £12 concs. and on sale now from ARC’s Box Office on 01642 525 199 or www.arconline.co.uk.
