Ha Ha Hadrian’s Wall Walk to return in 2015
Comedy charity event Ha Ha Hadrian’s Wall Walk is to return for a third year.
Between Thursday 21 and Thursday 28 May, a group of comedians will walk the length of the historic Roman wall, performing free stand-up shows in several venues along the way.
This year the event, organised by comedian Nick Banks, will be raising funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK; the two previous walks raised over £9000 for charity. This year, Banks is aiming to collect at least £5000.
The walk will begin in Newcastle, and end in Port Carlisle a week later.
Acts confirmed so far include Seymour Mace, Silky, and Patrick Monahan, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
Banks said: “Some of the best headline comedians and upcoming comedy acts will be on the walk to raise money for this fantastic charity – so please help us by sharing the information and donating. Let’s see if we can make 2015’s walk the best yet.”
