New Totally Trented lands online
After debuting its first series last year, online prank show Totally Trented is back for more agonizing hidden camera antics.
The series, from producers Turtle Canyon Comedy, saw clueless comedian David Trent subject the peaceful residents of Ruislip to a series of what he considered to be pranks and magic tricks.
The Edinburgh Fringe Best Newcomer Nominee was joined by Newcomer and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner John Kearns, Nick Helm and Evelyn Mok in the four part series, available to watch online.
After following Trent’s increasingly desperate and bizarre attempts to attain his crown as the new Ashton Kutcher-meets-Dom Joly-meets-Jeremy Beadle, the second series sees producers sidelining Trent in a bid to salvage the format.
Stepping in to lead the show are Impractical Jokers‘ Joel Dommett, Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee Sam Simmons, Sarah and Lizzie Daykin of Live At The Electric.
Five episodes of the series are scheduled for release over the next few months, with its opening episode arriving online today.
