Uncle series two gets air date
The new series of BBC sitcom Uncle has been given an air date.
The show’s second series will return to BBC Three on Tuesday 10 February at 10pm.
Starring Nick Helm as an ill-tempered man-child forced to look after his bookish nephew, the sitcom was widely celebrated, with its re-commissioning announced immediately after its inaugural series aired this time last year. It was later repeated on BBC One.
Produced by Baby Cow, and written and directed by Oliver Refson, the darkly comic show pulled in over 2.6 million viewers, and was recently picked up DirecTV, America’s largest satellite broadcaster.
