Al Murray, Jack Dee and Tim Minchin front the comedy line-up at this year’s Latitude, organisers have announced.

Radio 4’s Infinite Monkey Cage – with Robin Ince and Brian Cox – also tops the bill at the festival in Southwold, Suffolk.

Other stand-ups announced for Latitude include Rich Hall, Reginald D Hunter, Nick Helm and Josie Long, who recently received a five star review from Giggle Beats.

The event, which takes place 12th-15th July 2012, promises to offer the ultimate arts experience, with the likes of Max and Ivan, Dr Brown, Ed Gamble and Fringe staple The Horne Section also performing in The Cabaret Arena.

Bon Iver, Elbow and Paul Weller are the music headliners.

Founder of Latitude Festival  Melvin Benn said: “This year’s line-up will once again see Latitude present a bill of sensational artists. Bon Iver, Elbow and Paul Weller are all headliners with outstanding pedigrees, which we’re thrilled to announce.

“And with artists and companies of the calibre of Jack Dee, The Infinite Monkey Cage, National Theatre, Globe Education at Shakespeare’s Globe and Tim Minchin all appearing, we’re confident that 2012 will be the best Latitude yet.”

Tickets for Latitude Festival are priced at £175 and available to purchase here.
