House of Fools series two: Bob Mortimer spills the beans

Filming for series two of House of Fools will begin in October, star Bob Mortimer has confirmed.

Mortimer, who co-writes the BBC Two sitcom with his long-time comedy partner Vic Reeves, revealed the news on Twitter, while also confirming that the new series will be recorded at MediaCity UK in Salford.

Series one, which also starred Matt Berry, Morgana Robinson and Dan Skinner, was shot at Elstree Studios, near central London.

Mortimer posted: “2 new eps of House of fools written …’Xmas in Mordor’ and ‘Electricity Matters’ ..filming Salford October.”

All of the main cast will reprise their roles for series two, which is expected to air in early 2015.
