Dave Spikey is to tour with a new stand-up show.

Spikey, who rose to prominence co-writing Phoenix Nights with Peter Kay, has confirmed a 12-date run of his new show, Punchlines, which promises material about “nuns on bikes and Prince Charles wearing a fox hat.”

Spikey debuts the show in his hometown of Chorley on Friday 25 September with a sold out performance at the Little Theatre, before stops in Rotherham, Huddersfield, Lancaster, Bolton and Skipton amongst others.

Tickets are on sale now, priced £15-£17.
