Big Mouth Comedy Gala postponed
A charity gala hosted by Hebburn creator Jason Cook has been postponed – four days before the show was due to take place.
In July, Middlesbrough’s Big Mouth Comedy Club announced a comedy showcase in aid of local charities, featuring BBC2 star Cook [pictured], Justin Moorhouse and Matt Reed amongst others.
But today the club, ran by promoters Ten Feet Tall, postponed Sunday’s gala at Middlesbrough Town Hall “due to unforeseen TV filming commitments of some of the comics involved.”
Big Mouth are now looking to reschedule a new date in the new year.
Cook is currently filming series two of Hebburn on location in the North East.
Ticket holders can claim a refund by visiting the Middlesbrough Town Hall Box Office, or by calling 01642 729 729.
