The Boy With Tape On His Face

As an early Christmas present to our readers, we’re giving away two tickets to see comedy sensation The Boy With Tape On His Face at the Big Owl Comedy Club’s Hexham venue. A man with duct tape over his mouth doesn’t usually produce good stand-up comedy, but Sam Wills’ one man show defies convention and is one of the most innovative shows in recent memory. Combining visual elements of stand-up with props and mime, The Boy With Tape On His Face has attracted attention from around the world, and a plethora of top reviews at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Supporting him on Friday 17th December will be Viz co-founder Simon Donald, bringing his character comedy to the stage; Hilarity Bites New Act Of The Year Andy Fury; radio funny man Alfie Joey; and MC Steffen Peddie.

So, do you want to be in with a chance of winning two tickets to see these fantastic acts next Friday night? Just answer this simple question:

What nationality is Sam Wills (The Boy With Tape On His Face)?

Answers must be sent to [email protected] and the closing date for entries is Tuesday 14th December. The winner will be notified by Wednesday lunchtime.

But, don’t worry if you don’t win our competition. Tickets can still be purchased from the Queen’s Hall Box Office on 01434 652477 or online at www.queenshall.co.uk, priced at £10.00 / £9.00 (Groups of 6+) / £8.00 (Friends / student / benefit concession).
