Ricky Gervais has told the Radio Times that he is returning to stand-up. Humanity will be Gervais’ first show since 2009.

Justin Moorhouse and Hebburn actor Victoria Elliott have been nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress in the Manchester Theatre Awards for their performances in Two.
Finally, Tenacious D have announced plans to launch a comedy rock festival in Los Angeles. Jack Black and Kyle Gass have booked the Santa Monica Pier on October 19th, with the likes of Tim Minchin, Flight of the Concords and Eric Idle rumoured to be playing. Details.
