Preview: Tom Stade Live
Comedy globetrotter Tom Stade is bringing his cool stage presence, distinctive Canadian drawl and razor sharp eye for hilarious immaterial irony to Leeds on February 4th.
Stade is a name on the lips of many predicting big things in 2012 following a string of high profile TV appearances, however having headlined festivals worldwide for several years the truth is he probably ‘made it’ years ago, and we’re only just finding out about it.
A consummate story teller, Stade is no stranger to controversy having co-written Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights, and his latest stand-up venture is eagerly anticipated – tickets are selling fast, with demand high for one of the circuit’s finest performers. Expect to have your funny bone tickled, your grey matter probed and preconceptions challenged.
Stade will be joined on February 4th by Dave Twentyman and Sunderland comedian Matt Reed.
Tickets for Tom Stade Live at The HiFi Club, Leeds, are £11 and are available from http://www.jumborecords.co.uk/tickets.asp?event_id=13073
