Laughter Lines returns for second year…
Laughter Lines Comedy Festival will return to Leeds later this month after organisers received contributions from 85 donors to help finance the festival.
The event, rebranded as Leeds Comedy Festival, will take place from 28th April to 4th May 2012, with 15 shows operating across 8 venues in the city. The likes of Isy Suttie, Peacock and Gamble and Paul Foot front a line-up peppered with seasoned professionals and local names.
Festival organiser Patrick Turpin said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have Laughter Lines back for a second year.
“Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our 85 donors we’ve been able to expand the festival and bring bigger and better comedians to Leeds in 2012.”
Last year Laughter Lines adopted a wristband scheme for the weekend, but tickets for this year’s festival must be bought individually from the festival’s website. For further details, including all ticketing information, visit: www.laughterlines.org
