Cinemas across the north will be screening stand-up comedy for the first time later this month.

The Comedy Store has teamed up with Sony Digital Cinema to produce four feature-length comedy shows, entitled The Comedy Store: Raw & Uncut.

The series of special Comedy Store gigs, featuring the likes of Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Doc Brown, Adam Bloom and Steve Hughes, were recorded at the famous venue on London’s Leicester Square.

And they will be shown in over 118 cinemas nationwide from Friday 22 February, including Cineworld screens in Boldon, Bradford, Castleford, Hull, Manchester, Middlesbrough and Wakefield.

Raw & Uncut shows will then follow bi-weekly on 8 March, 22 March and 5 April at 8.30pm.
