The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek

Sketch troupe The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek have landed a six-part series on the BBC.

The comedians – Graeme Rooney, Paul Charlton and Kevin O’Loughlin – have been one of the Edinburgh Fringe success stories in recent years with their energetic, family-friendly sketches.

And after catching the eye of TV bosses during a pilot show back in March, the trio have been rewarded with their own show on BBC2.

The boys announced the news on their Facebook page, writing: “It’s official – we have our own BBC2 series! Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years.”

Most sketches will be filmed live at the BBC’s Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow, with some pre-recorded and played back on screens for the audience to see.

Filming begins on Monday 19th November, with the series expected to air in the spring.
