Webster joins Millican & Brand at charity show

North East comedian Gavin Webster will join Sarah Millican and Jo Brand for a charity show at the Tyne Theatre later this week.
Earlier in the year, Millican and Brand announced they would team up for a one-off gig in aid of the Tyneside Rape Crisis Centre, who provide information, support and counselling to women who have experienced sexual violence.
And Webster, who has a weekly residency at the Newcastle Stand, revealed on his blog today that he will host the show on Friday night.
He wrote: “I’m at The Tyne Theatre this Friday with Jo Brand, Sarah Millican and my old mate Andy Robinson doing a benefit for a Rape Crisis Centre in Newcastle.
“I’m compering the show and the other three are doing sets. I think it’s Andy [Robinson] first, Jo [Brand] second and Sarah [Millican] to close. It’s sold out but if you’re coming already do have a good night.”
Webster also announced to his followers that he will launch a new comedy album at The Stand on Sunday 9th December.
