Brigstocke’s Back! Teesside return for Marcus.
Comedian Marcus Brigstocke will bring his new show, The Brig Society, to Stockton’s ARC on Friday 14th September.
Brigstocke, who takes the show to Edinburgh this summer before the trip to Teesside, says the new show involves “totally restructuring every aspect of life in Britain organised through the medium of jokes”, and “promises to be as sharply observant and quick witted as ever.”
A regular on the Now Show with Punt & Dennis, he has also proved a big hit as intrepid explorer Giles Wembley Hogg Goes Off. Brigstocke enjoyed three series of The Museum of Everything (2003-2006) too, as well as being a regular on long-standing Radio 4 classics Just a Minute and the Newsquiz.
Peter Vincent, of promoters Ten Feet Tall, said: “Marcus’s shows are always laugh-out-loud, and he’s always someone I look forward to working with. He’s easily one of my personal favourites – brilliant on TV & radio, but absolutely amazing live.
“Look out for us at a curry house nearby after the gig!”
