Tickets for Kendal Calling 2012 on sale now.
Tickets for this year’s Kendal Calling went on sale at 9am this morning as organisers announced an abundance of artists for the 2012 festival.
As far as the music line-up is concerned, the North East’s own Maximo Park will headline the opening night on Friday 27th July; Dizzee Rascal takes centre stage on the Saturday; while James will close the festival on Sunday 29th.
Kendal Calling enters its seventh year this summer and offers a variety of music, spoken word and performing arts at their Lowther Deer Park site.
Last year’s programme featured a wealth of circuit stand-ups in the Soapbox Tent, from assured comedians Gary Delaney, Dan Nightingale and Mitch Benn to newer acts like Tony Basnett, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year finalist Danny Sutcliffe and Peter Otway, who recently won the Frog and Bucket’s Beat the Frog World Series final.
Organised in association with Kill For A Seat promotions, the comedy line-up for Kendal Calling 2012 is yet to be announced, however GiggleBeats will be the first to let you know. In the meantime, you can read our review of last year’s festival here.
