Preview: Halifax Comedy Club
As Yorkshire’s comedy scene continues to blossom, this week we welcome a new night that looks set to offer something which everyone should bloody love; cracking line-ups at a wallet friendly price!
Located at the newly refurbished Bar Rouge, Halifax, The Halifax Comedy Club’s debut show consists of headliner Joe Bromehead, Mackem veteran Mark Rough, Karl White, Nick Cranston and MC Tony Jameson. Bromehead, a rising star who made waves winning the ‘Beat the Frog’ and ‘King Gong’ competitions as an amateur, will be bringing his own unique style to amuse the people of West Yorkshire. Accompanying him is the uncompromising Mark Rough, a comic with thousands of gigs under his belt.
The bill also features slots from two up and coming acts: Halifax’s very own Karl White and Sunderland’s Nick Cranston. Marshalling proceedings and keeping up the North East theme to the evening will be Tony Jameson.
Tickets are £5 and available online here. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm kick off. For more information visit their website.
