Henley Festival is expanding its comedy programme for 2016.

The riverside festival, which takes place in Henley-on-Thames, runs over five days from 6 – 10 July and celebrates the best of international and UK music, art, food and culture.

This year, Henley Festival will expand its comedy programme, which has in the past seen performances by Mark Watson, The Horne Section and Adam Hills, with twenty of the best comics from around the world set to appear.

The line-up, now quadruple the size of previous years’, features Al Murray, Reginald D Hunter, Nina Conti, Dillie Keane, Richard Herring, Adam Kay, The Boy With Tape On His Face, Hal Cruttenden, Simon Evans, Frisky & Mannish, Lili La Scala, The Pin, Sam Simmons, Jonny Awsum, Eleanor Tiernan, Chris Kent and Jess Robinson.

Henley Festival began in 1983 in an endeavour to bring music and culture to the Oxfordshire town, and is this year set to welcome 30,000 people through its gates.

Tickets for the festival start at £35 and are available online from 10am on Thursday 25 February.
