Stuart Goldsmith is to embark on his first tour in March.

The Comedian’s Comedian podcaster will take his debut show An Hour on the road for a 21 date tour around the country, beginning at Birmingham’s Glee Club on 4 March.

Goldsmith premiered An Hour, his fifth show, at last year’s Edinburgh Festival, where it was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award.

Goldsmith is perhaps best known for his podcast Comedian’s Comedian, in which he interviews comics, including Matt Lucas, Justin Moorhouse and Sarah Millican, in depth about their creative process.

The podcast has cultivated a huge following, and recently topped 4 million downloads.
In the past year Goldsmith has appeared on Dave’s Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, as well as at the LA Podfest and Montreal’s Just For Laugh’s comedy festival.

Goldsmith said: “Before I became a stand-up comic I used live in Fallowfield and do street-shows in outside the Royal Exchange in St Anne’s Square. Since becoming a professional comedian it was always a dream of mine to one day come back to Manchester on tour with my own comedy show, and on 23rd March I’m making it happen for the first time!”
