Hebburn comics turn out for Christmas Laffalang
Local comics including two stars of BBC sitcom Hebburn will join the Laffalang gang this Christmas for a charity fundraiser.
The Christmas 2015 Laffalang will take place at South Shields’ Westovian Theatre on Monday 14 December, with all profits going to Breast Cancer Now.
MCed by Steffen Peddie, the show will feature a mixture of specially written sketches and performances from Jason Cook, Mike Milligan, Mickey Hutton and musical comedian Josh Daniels.
Also joining the Yuletide Laffalang will be Maxie Peters, who can currently be seen as the pantomime Dame at Newcastle’s Tyne Theatre, and the regular Laffalang gang, including Bob Stott.
Laffalang producer Gareth Hunter said: “What a fantastic line up! We were delighted when everyone said they would do the show. This is a particularly busy time of year for comedians and we can’t thank them enough. Not only will people get a great laugh, they will be contributing towards a fantastic cause.”
The Christmas 2015 Laffalang: Monday, December 14, 7pm, Westovian Theatre, Ocean Road, South Shields. Tickets are £11 and are available from the Visitor Information Centre in Haven Point sports centre.
