Hypnodog comes to The Frog and Bucket
Krystyna Lennon and her German Spitz pooch Princess are bringing their show to The Frog and Bucket this month.
On Sunday 22 November, Lennon and “Hypnodog” Princess will be sending punters at the Manchester comedy club into a deep and hilarious sleep in their unique show.
Recently seen on Britain’s Got Talent where they hypnotised Simon Cowell into a sleepy nap, the pair’s act was born when professional hypnotist, and Krystyna’s uncle, Hugh Lennon created the act with his black Labrador Retriever Oscar. Lennon brought him up on stage one night to discover that; “he started staring at this girl and she fell into hypnosis without me doing a thing.”
Lennon maintains a theory that some carnivores hypnotise their prey, but don’t worry you’re not likely to get nibbled by Princess. (Not unless you’ve smeared yourself with sausages before the show.) They went on to perform all over the country, at the Edinburgh Fringe on TV and at Reading and Leeds festivals.
In this two hour long comedy show, with the aid of 15 lively Frog and Bucket audience members, Krystyna promises to hypnotise them into thinking they are the world’s greatest ballet dancer, a member of the Pussycat Dolls, appearing on Jeremy Kyle or a getting stoned on a fake cigarette.
Tickets are £7 (£5 concessions) and are available from frogandbucket.com.
