Sham Bodie returns next week with arguably their best lineup to date.

The eclectic Manchester comedy night, dubbed “Manc Heroes” by Manchester Evening News last month, is back on Thursday 15 October with a selection of comedy befitting their latest epithet.

Opening the night is Pop Up Puppet Cinema, and their 15 minute interpretation of classic movie Back to the Future.

Also, stand-up Danny Sutcliffe will be playing ‘Gerrin the Bin’, in which he chucks stuff int’ bin that he doesn’t want any more. And unlike Room 101 those things actually stay there.

Finally Foster’s Comedy Award nominees Gein’s Family Giftshop, just back from a run at London’s Soho Theatre and more Edinburgh success in August, close the night with their darkly gut-busting sketch comedy.

Taking place at the Northern Quarter’s Soup Kitchen this month, and hosted by Ben Tonge, Sham Bodie kicks off at 8pm. There’s also music from Peace And Love Barbershop Muhammad Ali.

Oh, and free hot dogs. Genuinely, what more could you ask for?

Tickets are £5, and are available online.
