Ray Peacock will be bringing his 2014 Edinburgh show, Here Comes Trouble, to The Witham in Barnard Castle on Saturday 28 March.

Described by The Guardian as “incessantly hilarious”, the triple Chortle Award nominated comedian and storyteller takes you through a myriad of mischief and misdemeanours in an attempt to get to the bottom of what on earth drives a grown man to such infantile behaviour.

Award-winning stand-up Ahir Shah will also be performing on the night, as he presents Texture, the best show at the 2014 Leicester Comedy Festival.

Peter Dixon, of Funny Way To Be Comedy Club, said: “In this show we wanted to bring two well established and polished performances that have already received critical acclaim at top comedy festivals in the UK.

“Having seen both Ray and Ahir a number of times at the Edinburgh Festival I know we are going to be in for a real treat with this double header show.”

The pair head to Barnard Castle as part of Funny Way To Be Comedy Club‘s blockbuster comedy programme at The Witham.

Mock The Week star Gary Delaney, Hebburn creator Jason Cook, Gein’s Family Giftshop and Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse will all visit the market town over the coming months.

Saturday’s show starts at 8pm.

Tickets are £10 on a 2-4-1 deal.
