Sarah Millican announces 129-date Outsider tour

Sarah Millican has announced a 129-date tour of the UK.

The former Queen of Comedy will tour her new show, Outsider, later this year, starting with a show at Stockton ARC on the 15 October 2015.

In total, Millican will play 11 dates in her native North East, with two shows at The Customs House in South Shields on 27 and 28 October; one at Durham’s Gala Theatre on 15 November; one at the Whitley Bay Playhouse on 17 November; two at Middlesbrough’s Town Hall on 10 and 11 December and four at Newcastle’s Tyne Theatre from 25 to 28 May 2016.

The official blurb for the new show reads: “In the past when you put Sarah Millican outside, she asked things like: ‘Why? Where is the taxi? Do I need a cardie?’ and said things like: ‘There’ll be wasps. I’ve nothing to sit on. Is that poo? Can we go home?’

“But things have changed. Now she has outside slippers. She can tell a chaffinch from a tit (hey). But she still can’t tell if it’s an owl or her husband’s asthma.

“Sarah Millican is venturing outside. Bring a cardie.”

Millican’s Outsider tour goes on sale at 10am on Friday, with ‘pre-sale’ tickets released to her mailing list at 10am tomorrow.
