Dylan Moran has added an additional date to his Off the Hook tour.

The Irish comic will now play Middlesbrough Town Hall on Friday 24 April 2015, as part of the 49-date stint.

Tickets for the Town Hall date go on sale at 10am on Friday 9 January, available from Middlebrough Town Hall box office and online.

The show marks Moran’s first appearance in Middlesbrough since 2009, when he brought his What It Is tour to Teesside.

The Perrier winning comic is perhaps best known for co-writing and starring in Channel 4’s Black Books, as well as a string of films roles including Shaun of the Dead, Notting Hill and Run, Fat Boy, Run.

Rob Guest of Middlesbrough Town Hall said: “The news just keeps getting better and better for Teesside’s comedy fans, and what a fantastic way to start the year!

“The comedy diary is already shaping up to be our best ever year here at the Town Hall – and that’s saying something!

“We’ve had some amazing nights here over the last few years, and Dylan’s gig in 2009 was right up there with the best of them.

“I think anyone who was at that gig will want to come back for more with this brand new show, and we’re in for a great night here.”
