After what feels like an eternity, House of Fools is back.

Vic and Bob’s gloriously silly sitcom returns to BBC Two at 10pm tomorrow night with a frankly belting Christmas special, full of daft songs, fancy costumes and slapstick scrapping.

The episode begins on Christmas Eve, and the party’s about to get started. But Bob’s celebrations are cut short when the special present he organised for his particularly sulky son Erik [Daniel Simonsen] is unexpectedly engulfed in flames.

To find a suitable replacement they join Julie [Morgana Robinson] and Bosh [Dan Skinner] on an underground boat journey to none other than Phil Collins’ mansion. Obviously.

If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, there’s also a guest appearance from Reece Shearsmith – last seen in series one’s The Ghost Affair – as a racist Santa with marital issues.

House of Fools really is the best thing Vic and Bob have done in years. And the good news is there’s more to come; a six-part series is on its way in early 2015.

Giggle Beats will be live-tweeting the episode on our Twitter account from 10pm tomorrow night. Join us using the hashtag #GBHouseOfFools.
