The Comedy Store returns to Durham next week with stand-up from a former Edinburgh Comedy Award winner.

One of the North East’s flagship comedy nights is back at the Gala Theatre on Sunday 6 July with a genuinely fantastic line-up.

Hosting Sunday’s show is Mick Ferry, who you might recognise from an appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow once upon a time (he had a ‘tache at the time).

Opening is Northampton’s finest Andrew Bird; The Scotsman says he’s going to be a star and we agree.

Also appearing is the wonderful Adam Bloom, who we had the pleasure of speaking to a couple of years back.

And Phil Nichol, Edinburgh Comedy Award winner and Canadian legend, rounds off the show with his trademark, odd-ball stand-up.

Any one of the four acts could headline the show, so to see a bill of this quality outside of The Comedy Store’s flagship venue in London is a bit of a treat.

And thanks to the Gala Theatre, Giggle Beats readers can also enjoy the show for a paltry £7 a pop – you just need to quote ‘Giggle7’ when booking your tickets.

Don’t say we don’t treat you well.
