BBC release iPlayer comedy shorts
The BBC has released its six iPlayer comedy shorts featuring the likes of Frankie Boyle, Bob Mortimer and Reece Shearsmith.
Each comedian was invited to create a piece exclusively for BBC iPlayer, “something they’ve always wanted to write or perform.”
Boyle and Mortimer teamed up to produce a “demented interactive cookery show” titled Frankie Boyle and Bob Mortimer’s Cookery Show.
In the short, Frankie shows Bob his Lancashire Hot Pot recipe, but runs into trouble when the show fails to deliver its quota of fun, education and social media buzz.
Elsewhere, Shearsmith and Sally Phillips star in The Case Of The High Foot – about a pair of ‘gremlinologists’.
While Meera Syal, Micky Flanagan and Mortimer’s House of Fools co-stars Morgana Robinson and Matt Berry also filmed shorts, released online today.
