Stars of the BBC2 sitcom Hebburn are reuniting in aid of one of the North East’s leading charities.

Chris Ramsey, Jason Cook and Steffen Peddie, who played Jack, Ramsey and Big Keith in the now cancelled comedy series, will all be performing at the Foundation of Light’s Variety Night at Sunderland Empire on Thursday 3 July.

The event, raising funds for the charity’s wide range of sport and education-based programmes, will also feature a host of other well-known stars from stage and screen, with a full line-up expected to be announced later this month.

Lesley Spuhler, of the Foundation of Light, said: “The Variety Night will be one of the biggest events the Foundation of Light has ever hosted and we’re delighted to announce Chris, Jason and Steffen as the first acts in our star-studded line-up.”

Tickets for the Foundation of Light’s Variety Night are available to buy online via the ticket centre. Prices start from £12 each if purchased in person at the Sunderland Empire box office or from £13.90 on 0844 871 3022.
