Daniel Kitson is to perform at a human rights benefit in Manchester later this month.

Kitson has been confirmed for a Freedom From Torture charity show at The Yard, an alternative art space in a housing co-operative in Hulme, on Saturday 31 May.

He announced the news on his newsletter this morning, writing: “I am doing a benefit, in Hulme, Manchester for Freedom From Torture called ‘Hulme and Rights’ and it was that pun as much as the truly excellent and important cause that made me agree to do it.

“It’s me, Josie Long, Molly Naylor and a couple of others – it’s a small room I think, so if you fancy it you should get stuck in.”

Tickets went on sale this morning, priced £13, and sold out almost immediately. However you can still donate to Freedom From Torture via their website.
