Jesterval 2013: Win festival passes

Kicking off its five-day run this Thursday, Jesterval Comedy Festival is probably the best thing that will ever happen to Gateshead.

Parking its glorious arse in a 350-seater marquee on Baltic Square, the festival is a veritable comedy hot-pot, made up of telly regulars, circuit favourites and the cream of the local crop.

Some of the UK’s biggest stand-ups are going to be there – including Ed Byrne, Marcus Brigstocke and Hebburn creator Jason Cook – and, thanks to organisers, you could be too.

We have festival passes to give away for the last two days of Jesterval, so you can catch the final seven shows on us.

They include Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Phil Nichol, Carey Marx, Joanne Neary, Gordon Southern, Viz creator Simon Donald, Luisa Omielan and Andrew Maxwell. Total comedy porn.

And all you have to do to get your hands on passes for you and a mate is answer this simple question:

Q. Where will Jesterval Comedy Festival be held this year?

Answers on a postcard, or to [email protected], by noon on Wednesday 2 October with the subject heading ‘Jesterval’.

To avoid wasting these sought-after tickets, please only enter if you are able to attend Jesterval on Sunday 6 October and Monday 7 October.

The winner will be contacted within 24 hours of the closing time.

If we cannot reach the winner, or if the winner can no longer attend, we will reselect a winner from the list of entrants. The editor’s decision is final.
