Punt and Dennis announce 2014 tour

Punt and Dennis will visit Newcastle and Yorkshire in their 2014 tour.

The duo, who have worked together on The Mary Whitehouse Experience, The Now Show, It’s Been A Bad Week, and Jasper Carrot’s TV show Canned Carrot, are embarking on their first tour since 2011’s “They Should Get Out More”.

Since then, Hugh Dennis has appeared in the hit BBC shows Mock the Week and Outnumbered.

The new show, “Our Life on the Road”, opens in the Dorset town of Wimbourne in January, before travelling to Northern towns and cities for the following dates:

1 Feb – Newcastle (Mill Volvo Tyne Theatre)

2 Feb – Durham (Gala Theatre)

3/4 Feb – Harrogate (Theatre Studio)

16 Feb – York (Grand Opera House)

25 Feb – Richmond (Richmond Theatre)

Their 2011 tour received mediocre reviews, with The Guardian writing that there was nothing to get “excited, surprised or even terribly amused by.”

The Telegraph, meanwhile, suggested that the duo should be enjoyed “as enduring also-rans.”
