Russell Kane headlines Leeds Festival

Former Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Russell Kane is to headline this year’s Leeds Festival.

Kane travels to Bramham Park, near Wetherby, on Friday 23 August after 11 dates at the Edinburgh Fringe with new show, Smallness. His short run at the Pleasance Courtyard ends the night before his Leeds appearance.

‘Funniest Person on Twitter’ Rob Delaney, comedian and political activist Mark Thomas, and US stand-up Jamie Kilstein are also scheduled to appear at the festival over the August bank holiday weekend.

Seann Walsh, Mark Thomas, Romesh Ranganathan, Jim Smallman, Lucy Beaumont,  Nathan Caton, Andrew O’Neill, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Idiots of Ants, Tiffany Stevenson, Elis James, Rob Beckett, Luisa Omielan, Suzi Ruffell, Mark Simmons, Jamie Kilstein, Paul Chowdhry, Jarred Christmas, Trevor Noah and Andrew Ryan.

Shappi Khorsandi, Tom Deacon and Daniel Townes have also been booked, though only for the festival’s twin site in Reading.
