July sees more top comedy from Laughing Cows in Manchester, Stockport and Glossop.

In Manchester this month there’s a special Edinburgh preview of Tiffany Stevenson‘s new show Optimist. A finalist on ITV1’s Show Me the Funny, Stevenson is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer who is known for her frank material and endearing demeanour.

She has previously performed four solo Edinburgh Fringe stand-up shows, Uncomfortably Numb, Cavewoman, Dictators and Along Came a Spider and will be appearing there during August with her new show, Optimist.

Providing the support in Manchester is Jo Romero, with Kerry Leigh on compering duty.

On Saturday over at Glossop, there are performances from Sarah Profit and Katie Mulgrew, and the cheeky Lou Conran hosts. Profit and Mulgrew are both headed to the Edinburgh Fringe next month with their shows Prof’s Olympic Legacy and Happily Ever After respectively.

Meanwhile over in Stockport there’s a set from the seasoned Canadian comedian Allyson June Smith, Jen Williams hones her skills in the open spot and Katie Mulgrew hot foots it over from Glossop to perform.

Now in their 16th year, Laughing Cows have opened clubs across the nation and expanded onto the continent playing host to a number of big name female comedy acts whilst also nurturing new talent.
