Award-winning comedy duo Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns  – otherwise known as Cardinal Burns – have announced their first ever UK tour.

The British Comedy Award winners and BAFTA nominees have confirmed a 32-date run, starting at the Soho Theatre on 8 September and calling at Hayes, Lincoln, Salford, Weston-super-Mare, Kidderminster, Harrogate, Norwich, Cambridge, Poole, Gloucester, Brighton, Leeds, Bangor, High Wycombe, Leicester, Southampton and Swindon.

The tour comes hot on the heels of series two of Cardinal Burns, which recently aired on Channel 4.

After meeting at film school in Edinburgh, Seb and Dustin established themselves as sketch writer performers on the comedy circuit before really making their mark with their critically acclaimed self-titled show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009.

They went on to achieve sell out runs at London’s Soho Theatre and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as well appearances at Latitude, Leeds and Reading music festivals.

In 2011 they began working on their first television series from which they received three British Comedy Awards nominations in 2012 – the most-ever for first-time nominees – eventually walking away with Best Sketch Show, whilst scooping two Broadcast Awards and a Loaded Lafta in the same year.

Last year the duo were nominated for a BAFTA and the Rose d’Or award for comedy.

As well as their own series, Cardinal Burns have appeared together in Steve Coogan’s Saxondale, whilst individual credits include Alan Partridge: Alpha PapaI Give It a Year, Kill Your Friends, Psychobitches, Life’s Too ShortSpy and The Mimic.

Such was the success of the first series on E4, the latest series of Cardinal Burns transferred to Channel 4 in May and was a critical hit.
